Yeah so I've been pretty negligent lately. This is what happens when I whip out Final Fantasy X and start playing blitzball. I seem to forget the world exists and suddenly there's another sixty five hours logged on my game. It didn't help that I discovered Terry Pratchett. I really should have been reading him a long time ago. He's friggin hilarious. Anyway, artsy dA type stuff.

So, apparently, bees are nigh impossible to get photos of. I've been trying to get decent shots for the stock account but have only managed one of a hornet. I've taken probably sixty pictures. I think people thought I was really weird when I started crawling around in the ground cover chasing the bees with a camera.

Spider pics aplenty though. It seems they've decided to create some sort of uber colony in the building where I work so they're always crawling on the window sill past my desk. I've taken to keeping the camera handy so I can just start taking pictures whenever one happens by. I have yet to go through all those to see if I like any enough to put them up.

I'll probably put up more fireworks. They're marginally easier than bees but about half the pictures I took are all out of focus because I had to zoom and guess when to take the picture because there was a time delay to compensate for movement and the like. I finally just started doing video and am putting together a short so I can post it online, not here but somewhere. My brother made all this big noise about wanting to see Portland fireworks. I guess he thinks that somehow, Oregon fireworks must be really different than Utah fireworks.

I got on dA the other day and freaked out. I had about 50 deviations to go through and almost a hundred messages. I didn't realize it had been that long since I logged on but now that I think about it, it had to be at least two weeks. Oops. I don't think I want to do that again.
